1、 Select branches

When Gardenia takes root in hydroponic culture, branches with good growth should be selected. The branches should not be too thin and weak, and there should be no bacteria and insect eggs on them. Only if the cuttings used are healthy enough, they will take root faster and easier after hydroponic cutting

2、 Pruning treatment

It is better to have 3 nodes on the branch. Cut off the leaves at the base with scissors, and keep 1-2 leaves at the top. If too many leaves are retained, water evaporation will increase. The lower cut of the branch shall be cut into horseshoe shape. If the middle branch is used, the upper end of the cuttings shall be cut flat. If possible, it is best to use potassium permanganate to eliminate the poison

3、 Prepare container

Prepare a clean hydroponic container. The inner side of the container should be cleaned and there should be no dirt in it. Pour clean water into a bottle or flowerpot, preferably in a bottle or with a foam board. p>

4、 Hydroponic cutting

Insert the pruned branch into the container. Before it takes root, it needs to change the water every 1-2 days. It will take about 10-15 days to take root. When the root of the branch grows about 7cm, it can be transplanted
