1、 Grafting time
Fruit tree grafting is best in spring, specifically around March. Because the rootstock bud just started to sprout at this time, the wound healing caused by premature grafting is slow and easy to cause diseases and pests. The evening party will affect the growth of fruit trees, and even cause death in winter. Therefore, it is most suitable to graft about ten days before germination. In addition, pay attention to the weather when it is sunny p>
2、 Grafting method
There are many methods of grafting in fruit trees. From the utilization of scions, it is mainly divided into branch grafting and bud grafting. From the grafting position, it can be divided into root grafting, double grafting, abdominal grafting, rhizome grafting and high grafting. In terms of the form of interface, it can be divided into cutting connection, splitting connection, skin inserting connection, tongue connection, adjacent connection, embedded bud connection and so on p>
3、 Management after grafting
1. Pest control: the management of fruit trees should be strengthened after grafting, because they are vulnerable to various pests and diseases from grafting to germination. Once found, they should be sprayed immediately, otherwise the survival will be affected p>
2. Remove the sprouting tillers: there will be sprouting tillers on the rootstock about ten days after grafting, which should be removed in time, otherwise it will affect the later growth. If the joint of the rootstock is small and thick, do not remove it all, but leave a part far from the joint p>
3. Supplementary grafting: after grafting, it should be checked frequently. If it is found that there is no survival, it should be repaired as soon as possible p>
