1、 Cutting time
Cutting passion fruit can be carried out in spring and autumn. In these two seasons, its survival rate will be higher. Spring can be selected from January to February, and autumn should be from September to October. Relatively speaking, spring is the best. When cutting, the temperature should not be too low or too high, and the branches are difficult to survive p>
2、 Cutting method
1. Substrate: prepare breathable substrate before cutting. There should be no bacteria or insect eggs in the soil. The best way is to disinfect before use. Fine loess can be mixed with humus soil, which will be more conducive to the rooting of branches p>
2. Branch selection: when pruning, it is best to select strong branches that are one to two years old. There should be at least three nodes on the branches, and they should not be damaged by diseases and pests p>
3. Treatment: the cut at the top of the branch should be 3cm away from the node, the cut at the lower end should be oblique cut, and it should be about 1cm away from the node. It is best to have a leaf on the branch. Then soak the cuttings in rooting water and take them out after about half an hour p>
4. Cutting: insert the treated branches into the substrate at a depth of 2 / 3, pay attention to moisture and heat preservation, and it will take about 20-30 days to grow roots p>
