Orchids are very afraid of the cold. They have to move indoors for the winter. They usually move indoors when the outdoor temperature is lower than 10 ℃. They must enter the house before frost. But don't move into the room too early. It's best to change the entry time appropriately according to the local climate environment. For example, in the south, it's a little later, while in the north, it's better to try early, otherwise the plants will be frostbitten

In addition, different varieties have different entry times. Guolan can enter the house when the temperature is lower than 5 ℃. Cymbidium hybridum and Cymbidium Chunlan have certain cold resistance, and it is also possible to enter the house when it is lower than 2 ℃

2、 Winter curing

1. Temperature: Although we need to move indoors in winter, we also need to pay attention to regulating the temperature, and the minimum temperature should not be lower than 5 ℃. The room temperature should not be too high to avoid affecting plant growth

2. Ventilation: pay attention to ventilation when you spend winter indoors. Open more windows when the weather is good to let the air circulate better

3. Water control: during the winter, the amount of water must be strictly controlled to avoid the soil being too wet. And the watering time should be close to the room temperature. Don't use too cold water
