Fig branches can be cut alive, but we should master the correct cutting method and choose the appropriate cuttings. Under normal circumstances, you can use tender branches or hard branches. The branches you use grow better and cannot be invaded by diseases and pests. Only healthy and strong branches can survive cutting

2、 Correct cutting method

1. Twig Cutting: it can be carried out around June. Cut a section of twig with good growth, and the length should be controlled at about 10-15cm. Use scissors to cut off the leaves at the bottom and cut off half of the remaining leaves. Finally, insert it into the soil and do a good job of shading. Be careful not to insert too deep into the soil, about 2 / 3 of the depth is OK

2. Hard branch cutting: it's best to choose the cutting from March to April in spring, and the branch length can be slightly longer, 15-20cm is the best. The upper end of the branch is cut flat, the lower end is cut into horseshoe shape, and then dipped with an appropriate amount of rooting powder, which will be easier to survive. After treatment, the cuttings are inserted into the soil and compacted, the branches are fixed and watered
