1、 Sowing time

Melon leaf chrysanthemum is planted with seeds, and there is no fixed time. If you want it to bloom on New Year's day, it is recommended to do it around May. If you want it to bloom during the Spring Festival, it should be done around June. It takes eight months from seed planting to flowers, so it can be sown in batches

2、 Prepare soil

Before planting, prepare soil suitable for seed growth. It grows best in loose and nutritious soil. Before using the soil, you must disinfect it first, otherwise the bacteria or insect eggs in the soil will erode the seeds and affect the germination

3、 Treated seeds

If you want it to germinate faster, you need to soak the seeds in warm water for 8-12 hours. After treatment, the seeds can germinate 3 or 4 days earlier. Note that the water temperature should not be too high, about 40 ℃. Too high a temperature will burn the seeds

4、 Planting

Mix the seeds with the sterilized fine soil, sow them into the matrix by sowing, and cover them with a thin layer of soil. The thickness of the invisible seeds is the best. Then use the dip basin method to replenish water, and then cover it with a layer of plastic wrap or glass and put it in a semi shady environment. When the temperature is adjusted to 20 ℃, it will germinate in about a week
