The best time for cutting is in the middle of April, when the temperature is more appropriate and the probability of survival is the highest. Other months such as June, August, October and November are also OK, as long as the temperature conditions are guaranteed

2、 Soil selection

The loam used for cutting is of fluffy texture and deep soil layer. It needs to ensure good air permeability and drainage effect. The pH value can be a little lower, which can ensure better growth. Before use, it needs to be disinfected to avoid accidents in the later stage

Select well-growing plants and cut robust one or two-year-old branches. It is required that there are no diseases and pests. Leave a few leaves on them and remove the leaves below. This can avoid the consumption of nutrients and prevent decay caused by insertion. Put it in a cool place to dry the incision until it heals, and then it can be used for cutting

Dip the branches with rooting powder and insert them obliquely into one-third of the matrix without too deep. Put it in a semi shady place for curing, spray water at intervals to ensure moisture, and wait for rooting
