1、 Illumination

Orchids are not resistant to strong light. The sunshine in spring is mild. You can put them in a sunny place to receive all day sunshine. If it is maintained in a dark place for a long time, it is prone to yellowing of leaves and too thin stems. The sun is strong in late spring. Just accept the light every morning and afternoon. The light time should not exceed 4 hours

2、 Temperature

It will grow better in the environment with high temperature, so don't move it outdoors for maintenance before the climate is stable to avoid frostbite in spring. For indoor maintenance, keep the temperature at about 10 degrees

3、 Watering

After spring, the increase of air humidity is very helpful to the growth of orchids. For spring maintenance, we need to water more orchids. The amount of water can be a little more. When watering, it's OK until there is water flowing out. The temperature of the water should be close to the room temperature to avoid frostbite of the plant

4、 Fertilization

It needs to store nutrients before flowering, so it needs to increase nutrition in spring. Nitrogen fertilizer is the main fertilizer, supplemented by phosphorus and potassium fertilizer. Nitrogen fertilizer is used twice or three times a month, and phosphorus and potassium fertilizer is used once or twice a month

5、 Pest prevention

Spring is the growth period of plants and pests. Red spider is the most easily infected pest of orchid. If it is found, it needs to be sprayed with insecticides with strong efficacy and low side effects
