1. Root pruning: when the root system of Phalaenopsis rots, it is necessary to dig the plant out of the pot at the first time and remove the soil around the root. Find generally clean and sterilized scissors and trim the rotten part. Don't give up when pruning, as long as there is rotten part, it should be cut off

2. Disinfection: potassium permanganate shall be used for disinfection after pruning the root. After disinfection, the root shall be placed in a relatively cool place for drying. At the same time, the old soil used before should also be replaced or disinfected, otherwise even if it is put into the basin again, it will have rotten roots again

3. Pot: after disinfecting and drying the Phalaenopsis, it can be put back into the pot soil, and its roots should be buried in the soil. Don't damage the root system during the pot. After the pot, it should be maintained in a cool place with air circulation for a period of time

2、 Prevention work

When watering at ordinary times, the water volume should be strictly controlled, and there should be no ponding in the basin soil. The soil with good air permeability and drainage capacity shall also be used, and rain shielding measures shall be taken when it rains
