1、 Trim

Once the trunk of fortune tree is found to be rotten, it needs to be trimmed in time. Because the rotten part cannot carry out normal physiological activities, it may attract bacteria and make the plant sick, so it must be cut off in time. Before cutting, disinfect the scissors with disinfectant to avoid infection with bacteria. When cutting, use scissors to cut them completely without leaving any residue

2、 Disinfect

After pruning, the cut should be disinfected. Potassium permanganate can be used as disinfectant, and some flower fungicides with the function of eliminating bacteria can also be used, such as chlorothalonil, carbendazim and so on. After preparing the disinfectant, you need to add 1000-2000 times of clear water into it and dilute it. Then put the cut mouth of the plant downward into it, soak it for about 30 minutes and completely disinfect it

3、 Replant

Prepare some soft and breathable new flower soil to replace the old soil and put it into the flower pot. Then put the sterilized plants in a ventilated place to dry, and then plant them in the flower soil. If more roots are cut off, it can be soaked in rooting water for about 30 minutes before planting to promote rooting. After planting, put it in a warm place at about 20 ℃ for curing, and it can grow new roots and buds in about 20 days
